Palomar Airport - San Diego, CA

In Carlsbad, Jim Pieratt-CEO from Socal-Solar-Energy, explains the 20,000 sq ft project on top of Jet Source's Hangar at Palomar Airport.  Solar Panels for Commerical and Residential is now simple and cost effective. Solar Panels once it is set up, runs by itself and warms and provides electricity to power appliances and other needed electrical uses.  In addition, peak production of electricity can be resold back to the grid at San Diego Gas and Electric.  Ed Van Herik- from SD G& E, explains how at peak points of usage in the summer time is when they need to buy energy from sources like this project. 

Mr. Van Herik also descibes how the State of California can provide subsidies to solar projects at which up to 50% of the costs are subsidized.
